2015 Vietnam War 50th Anniversary Commemorative Event November 8th
On Sunday, November 8th, American Legion Post 234 held an event honoring Vietnam War and Era veterans and their families. The event was attended by 100 people and master of ceremonies, retired Lt. Colonel Dan Matthews, presented Department of Defense Vietnam Era Veteran lapel pins to honored guests. A local WWII veteran attending the event was honored with a standing ovation. 2015 Edmonds Community College Veterans Event

2015 Honors Ceremony for Navy Veteran

2015 Tour de Terrace Parade Honor Guard
Annually, American Legion Post 234 participates in the Mountlake Terrace Tour de Terrace parade. Our honor guard leads the parade along the parade route to the Evergreen Playfield where the weekend long event officially begins. Click on this link to view photos and video.
2015 Post 234 Memorial Day Vietnam War 50th Anniversary Commemorative Event
On May 25, 2015 American Legion Post 234 held an event honoring Vietnam War and Era veterans and their families. Over 75 people attended the event which featured guest speaker Vic Mills, author of SNAFU, a story of the Vietnam War. View the pictures and video here.
2015 Edmonds Community College "Honoring Our Veterans"
On May 20, 2015 Chris Szakek, John Zambrano and Frank Martinez participated in the Edmonds Community College 2nd Annual Honoring Our Veterans event. Click here to view pictures and video from the event.
2014 Lynnwood Christian School
On November 6, 2014 John Zambrano and Frank Martinez posted flags at Lynnwood Christian School along with Catherine Torres who was guest speaker. These pictures followed the veterans program and the school children formed a line, each one thanking our veterans in turn for their service along with a handshake. 2014 Tour de Terrace ParadeAnnually, the American Legion Post 234 Honor Guard leads the Mountlake Terrace Tour de Terrace parade in July. If you are a veteran and would like more information about participating in this event, other activities, or joining the Honor Guard, please contact us.
