WWII veterans from American Legion Post 234 were awarded service medals and handmade lap quilts from the Daughters of American Colonists in thanks for their service. Special thanks to Muriel Fagan, Chaplain for making the arrangements and taking time to facilitate the ceremony in each veterans' home.

I am happy to see that they have given awards for WWII veterans from American Legion Post 234. They really deserve that for everything they have done for our country. We all know how much sacrifice they did for our country, that's why honoring them in different ways is a must for us. Actually, that is just a small thing that we can do and we need to think of other possible ways on making them feel what they really deserve!
