The American Legion Post 234 Vietnam War 50th Anniversary Commemorative Committee has scheduled a meeting to discuss planned events and develop a detailed calendar to present to membership at the next meeting. Baker Council BSA Snohomish County Good Scout Breakfast on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at the Comcast Everett Arena Ballroom.  The Keynote Speaker is Dr. Robert M. Gates, Secretary of Defense from 2006-2011 and CIA Director from 1991-1993 and current National President of The Boy Scouts of America.

This is a complimentary event, with a request for your financial support of Scouting’s character-building programs.  Business table sponsorships are available.  The Mt Baker Council’s goal is to raise $100,000.

Thanks to the generosity of a local Non-Profit organization, we have an opportunity to provide canned food and frozen meat free of charge to Veterans at the Veterans Resource Center. Before we proceed, we would like to know how many veterans are interested in getting frozen meat from Central Market.
