The VA moves to Streamline Identification of Rural Land Areas in order to more accurately identify and serve rural Veterans. The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) is improving the method it uses to define urban, rural and highly rural land areas. Read the VA news release.

The VFW Auxiliary is providing a lunch for the Edmonds Community College Student Veterans their first week of school. Information about the event is as follows:

Anyone born after January 1, 1972 must take this course to obtain a hunting license. Course covers gun safety, general hunting regulations, survival, wildlife conservation, sportsmanship and other gun safety information.
 
American Legion post will have hamburgers, hot dogs, pop and chips available before class and during break time for purchase as a reasonable donation.
