The member directory project was approved by the DEC at the Midwinter conference. I spoke about it at the District Conferences and wrote about it in my Legionnaire article. In addition to verifying information and authorizing the publication of that information, members are also offered the opportunity to send in pictures of themselves in uniform and current photos, along with a brief narrative of their experiences in service and with the Legion.
No information will be published without the consent of the member and there is no cost to be listed in the directory. The directories will be offered for sale to the members. Dale F. Davis State Adjutant The American Legion Department of Washington (360) 491-4373 www.walegion.org |
