At noon, the Korean Consulate will arrive at Post 7 to honor Korean War veterans, who served in the Korean War theater of operations, with Ambassador of Freedom Medals from the Republic of Korea. If you are or know of a Korean War veteran in Whatcom County, please contact Al Jensen at 360-384-5419 so that we can prepare a seat for you. Must have served on the ground in Korea or in the waters or airspace in support of the troops on the ground. Free lunch is included.
